for music:
-Aquarius Records on Valencia St.
(I think it might be one of my favorite record stores, ever)
-Rasputin Records in Berkeley
-Amoeba (just because)

for books and sundry items:
-Pens and Needles
-Little Otsu
-City Lights Book (North Beach)

for interesting clothing:
-Wasteland Clothing on Haight Street
(even though there is one in L.A., too, and it's basically just like Buffalo Exchange)
-MARS (Berkeley)

for art:
SF MOMA
